⦿ Four latest passport size photo
⦿ Any university in Switzerland should accept your admission
⦿ Additional academic documents might be required like your Transcripts, degrees, diplomas or certificates from the school/colleges you have attended.
⦿ Proof of funds to show that you can pay for tuition fees, living expenses and return transportation.
Since English is mostly used as a medium of instruction in almost all Universities, colleges and other institutions, proficiency in English is mandatory and hence, students need to appear and score good in any of the English-proficiency tests, IELTS, PTE or TOEFL. The minimum score for admissions can vary according to the course applied, university, college or the institution.
There are two categories of visas for students planning to study in Switzerland. For short summer courses from language schools, they can apply for the C visa. Its validity lasts for 90 days.
But if you want to pursue full-time courses and need to stay beyond 3 months, you will need to apply for a D-visa. After receiving the D-visa, once you land in Switzerland, you should apply and obtain the residence permit from the cantonal migration offices in less than 14 days.
